Ship Handling and Maneouvring
The course is designed: in accordance with the requirements of Regulation I/12 of the STCW Code, Sections A-I/12 (paragraphs 1,2), A-II/1, A-II/2, B-I/12 (paragraphs 68, 69) of the STCW Code.
Course objective:
acquisition of experience and skills in managing bridge resources in various conditions, which will contribute to a more effective contribution to team management during maneuvering in normal and emergency situations.
Type of document: certificate.
Duration of study: full training course 54 hours (7 days) / reduced training course 27 hours (4 days).
Category of listeners:
captains, chief mates, second mates, watch officers, and cadets of maritime educational institutions, suitable for masters, watch officers, pilots, and mooring masters of all nationalities, ranks, and experience working on large vessels.
– passport (if an ID passport is available, it is necessary to additionally provide an Extract of registration);
– TIN (Tax Identification Number);
– seaman’s identity card;
– passport for traveling abroad (if available);
– matte photo 3×4;
– document confirming relevant maritime education in the specialty “Navigation on maritime routes”;
– working diploma (certificate);
– medical certificate;
– certificate of completion of the course “Training in navigation using radar, radar plotting using ARPA”, in accordance with the requirements of Model Course 1.07.
