Radar Navigation at Operational Level, Radar Navigation, Radar Plotting and Use of ARPA

The course is designed: in accordance with the requirements of Rule A-II/1, A-I/12 (paragraphs 4, 5) B-I/12 (paragraphs 2-35) of the STCW Code.

Course objective:

The program is designed for simulator training on a radar simulator and an ARPA simulator for navigators operating at the operational level (watchkeeping officer).

Type of document: certificate.

Duration of study: full training course 78.3 hours (10 days) / reduced training course 39.5 hours (5 days).

List of documents required for registration:

– passport (if an ID passport is available, it is necessary to additionally provide an Extract on registration);

– TIN;

– seaman’s identity card;

– passport for traveling abroad (if available);

– matte photo 3×4;

– document confirming relevant maritime education in the specialty “Navigation” or studying in the final year of an educational institution in the specialty “Navigation”;

– working diploma (certificate) not lower than that of a watchkeeping officer;

– medical certificate.
