Proficiency in fast rescue boats
The course is designed: in accordance with the requirements of Regulation VI/2 (paragraph 2) of the STCW Convention, Section A-VI/2 (paragraphs 7-10) of the STCW Code.
Course objective:
to provide ship specialists with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the duties and responsibilities of a lifeboat commander, as well as the duty of fast rescue boats. Prepare them for organizing and effectively using these means, as well as ensuring their understanding of their role in the system of ensuring the safety of human life at sea, both in emergency situations and during the operation and training with the use of rescue equipment.
Type of document: certificate.
Duration of study: full training course 16 hours (2 days) / shortened training course 8 hours (1 day).
Category of listeners:
Candidates must have a certificate in “Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Other Than Fast Rescue Boats” according to section VI/2 paragraph 1 of the STCW Convention.

– document confirming maritime education;
– work diploma (certificate);
