Medical First Aid on Board Ship

The course is designed: in accordance with the requirements of Rule VI/4 (paragraph 1) of the STCW Convention, section A–VI/4 (paragraphs 1–3) of the STCW Code, table A-VI/4-1 of the STCW Code.

Course objective:

to train the crew members of vessels without medical personnel in the skills of providing emergency medical assistance in the event of an accident or sudden illness on board the vessel.

Type of document: certificate.

Duration of study: full training course 31 hours (4 days).

Category of listeners:

full course – for professional sailors who have completed the basic course “Elementary First Aid (A-VI/1-3)” in accordance with the requirements of the International STCW Convention with the Manila Amendments 2010, shortened course – for attendees whose certificate is about to expire and needs to be renewed.

List of documents required for registration:

– passport (if you have an ID passport, you must additionally provide an Extract of registration);

– TIN;

– seaman’s identity card;

– international passport (if available);

– matte photo 3×4;

– document confirming maritime education;

– educational or work diploma in a maritime specialty;

– medical certificate.
