Engine-Room Resourse Management (Management level)
The course is designed: in accordance with the requirements of A-III/2, A-VІІІ/2 (parts 3, 4, 4-2), B-I/12 (p. 73), B-VІІІ (part 4-2) of the STCW Code.
Course objective:
This course is designed to prepare ship engineers and students (cadets) for managing the engine room and ship resources using the ERS – 5000 Techsim simulator.
Type of document: certificate.
Duration of study: full training course 22 hours (3 days).
– passport (in case of having an ID passport, it is necessary to additionally provide an Extract of registration);
– TIN (Tax Identification Number);
– seafarer’s identity card;
– passport for traveling abroad (if available);
– matte photo 3×4;
– document confirming maritime education at a level not lower than a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- “Operation of power plants”;
- “Automated process control” with a specialization in “Automated control of ship power plants”; or
document confirming maritime education at a specialist or master’s level in one of the following fields:
- “Electrical systems and complexes of vehicles” with a specialization in “operation of ship automated systems”;
- “Ship power plants and equipment” with a specialization in “Operation, testing, and installation of ship power plants”;
– working diploma (certificate) for a mechanic of the I (first) / II (second) rank;
– medical certificate.
