Designated Security Duties Of Ship Personnel
The course is designed: in accordance with section Rules VI/6 (items 4, 5), STCW Convention, to the requirements of section A-VI/6 (items 6-8) STCW Code.
Course objective:
ensuring that ship personnel, who have designated security duties according to the ship security plan, are provided with the necessary knowledge to enhance the safety and security of ships and to perform their duties in accordance with the requirements of Chapters XI-1, XI-2 of the International SOLAS Convention 1974 as amended, the ISPS Code 2002, Regulation VI/6 of the International STCW Convention 1978 as amended, and Sections A-VI/6, B-VI/6 of the International STCW Code, as amended.

Duration of study: training course 10.5 hours (2 days).

are recruited from among the ship’s officers, cadets of maritime educational institutions.
