Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations
The course is designed: in accordance with the requirements of Rule V/1-1 (points 1, 2) of the STCW Convention, standards of training, certification and watchkeeping for seafarers, 1978 as amended, sections A-V/1-1 (point 1) and B-V/1-1 of the STCW Code.
Course objective:
· practicing by the personnel of oil tankers and chemical tankers the practical skills necessary for conducting cargo operations on oil tankers and chemical tankers;
- achieving personnel standards of competence in the conduct and management of cargo operations on tankers, as outlined in column 1, table 1, 2 of table A-V/1-1-1 of the STCW Code;
- practical demonstration of the minimum standard of competence according to column 4 of table A-V/1-1-1 of the STCW Code.
Type of document: certificate.
Duration of study: full training course 46.25 hours (6 days) / shortened training course 23.5 hours (3 days).

– seafarer’s identity document;
– international passport (if available);
– matte photo 3×4;
– document confirming maritime education;
– certificate of completion of the “Advanced Firefighting” course;
– medical certificate.
