Basic Training for Liquified Gas Tanker Cargo Operations

The course is designed: according to the requirements of Regulation V/1-2 of the STCW Convention (paragraphs 1, 2), sections A-V/1-2 (paragraph 1) and B-V/1-2 of the STCW Code.

Course objective:

development of practical skills by tanker-gas carrier personnel necessary for carrying out cargo operations on tanker-gas carriers;

  • achieving competence standards by personnel in conducting and managing cargo and ballast operations on tanker-gas carriers, as specified in columns 1 and 2 of table A-V/1-2-1 of the STCW Code;
  • practical demonstration of achieving the minimum standard of competence in accordance with column 4 of table A-V/1-2-1 of the STCW Code.

Type of document: certificate/evidence.

Duration of study: full training course 33 hours (5 days) / short training course 17 hours (3 days).

List of documents required for registration:

– passport (in case of having an ID card, it is necessary to additionally provide an Extract of registration);

– TIN;

– seaman’s identity card;

– passport for traveling abroad (if available);

– matte photo 3×4;

– document confirming maritime education;

– working diploma (certificate);

– medical certificate;

– certificate of completion of the “Advanced Firefighting” course.
