Advanced Training for Ships Operating in Polar Waters
The course is designed: in accordance with the requirements of sections A-I/11, p.4, A-I/12, A-V/4-2, B-I/12 (pp. 68-70), B-V/g of the STCW Code.
Course objective:
acquisition of experience and skills in managing ships operating in polar waters, in ice navigation conditions and at low air temperatures.
Type of document: certificate.
Duration of study: training course 32 hours (4 days).
– passport (if an ID card is available, it is necessary to additionally provide an Extract of registration);
– TIN (Tax Identification Number);
– seafarer’s identity document;
– international passport (if available);
– matte photo 3×4;
– document confirming maritime education;
– working diploma (certificate) not lower than a watchkeeping assistant;
– certificate of completion of the “Basic Training for Ships Operating in Polar Waters” course;
– medical certificate.
